We build on your Central Texas lot. Giddens Homes builds luxury custom estate homes on acreage homesites in highly desirable locations throughout the Central Texas Hill Country. No, we only build using Giddens Homes award-winning plans. View all our floor plans and options on our very own “build on your lot” page!
Due to the sizes of our floor plans, the minimum lot size is currently 60’ for our smaller plans. Many of our larger floor plans fit on 90’ lots or larger.
Contact us today to connect with a sales manager to review our base price list and our standard features to help determine a general budget expectation for your new home. You will then fill out a preliminary lot information form to answer basic questions about your home site.

Yes! If you use our preferred lender, Carrie Hundley at First United Bank, you will have quick close opportunities.
Our base prices include a geotechnical investigation on your lot to determine the needed foundation design. Any needed architectural plan change fees (based upon the options you select) are included in the base price and options cost. Engineering fees for foundation, framing, and wind bracing are included. Up to four hours of interior designer assistance to help you make design selections are included in the base pricing. Up to $700 in survey expenses is also included in the base price (this covers locating pins and staking home on a standard +/- 1-acre lot—larger sites will require extra expense).
Yes, we include up to $1000 in tree removal and lot scraping as part of the base price of building your home on your lot. Excessive land clearing will incur additional fees.

Yes, shingle roofs with metal accents are available (per plan) for your Giddens home. You may customize to all metal or all tile roof.
Under usual circumstances, Giddens Homes typically builds a home over a 6-to-8-month period once forms have been set, with the overall process generally taking 10 to 12 months in total.
The base price of your new Giddens custom home in Central Texas includes a foundation height up to 30” average height (4 corners). If your foundation average is higher, extra slab cost will be incurred.
Yes, Giddens Homes includes a septic system, if needed. Giddens may provide an allowance if a well is required. Our plumber includes up to 100 LF of water line and our electrician includes up to 100 LF of UG electric line (Extreme lots may incur extra charges). However, costs for bringing electricity to your lot are not included, and power must be within 100 LF of your home site before we can start. Water well or water tap fees are not included. If the lot has city sewer, allowance for septic will be applied to any required tap/permit fees.
No, city permit fees, HOA plan review fees and any fees associated with deed restriction/CCR items that are above our standard specifications are not included.
As a custom homebuilder in Central Texas Giddens Homes offers the Centricity 1, 2 & 10-Year warranty. One-year workmanship, 2-year systems and 10-year structural. A bonded builder 10-year warranty is provided at closing. For additional details or to view a sample agreement, see our warranty page.
Yes, we include a driveway and sidewalk allowance of up to 2000 SF of salt rock finish concrete flatwork. Please note your lot must have all-weather road access before construction begins.
Yes, your new Giddens Homes includes the following: 7200 SF of Tiff Bermuda sod; 25 - 1-gallon plants; 15 - 5-gallon plants with bark mulch bed, and a 6-zone sprinkler system.
Fences and gates are not included in the base price of the home; however, Giddens Homes can install these for an added fee.
No, closing costs will be paid by buyer at the time of closing on your new home.
